Requirements for mozspam
On this page there are some basic thoughts about what mozspam in its first alpha version should be able to do.
Hook into the mail client at the right place
Find out the seder's server and check it against the relaying database
Reject or forward mail depending on the answer of the relay database reply
For later releases: (not sorted by importance)
XUL interface to configure:- which server to use for the DNS lookup
- Wether to use the filter or not
- Custom error message to the one who couldn't send the message
- other nice UI features
'This is Spam' button which would produce an action similar to the automatic spam action, maybe even automatic open relay checking for the host?
